Battle of the heiresses! Paris and Nicky Hilton take on Ivanka Trump in the style stakes as their parents are honoured at gala

For Donald Trump and Rick and Kathy Hilton it was a recognition of their many successes in the business world.
But for their stunning offspring, it was simply a competition of who is the most fashionable.
Paris and Nicky Hilton rivalled Ivanka Trump as the trio attended the Economic Scholarship Program Gala Dinner in New York on Wednesday.

Paris, 31, and her 29-year-old little sister Nicky naturally made sure their floor-length dresses perfectly complemented one another.
The elder Hilton sister showed off her figure in a strapless sapphire blue gown with jewel detailing.
And never one to miss a trick she even brought her 21-year-old toyboy River Viiperi along for the occasion.

The model sported a deep blue suit to ensure he and his heiress love looked like Barbie and Ken as they posed side by side.
Nicky chose a pillarbox red frock with lace panelling on the sleeves and chest, topping off her look with a furry leopard print clutch bag.
But if it was a battle for the sexiest outfit, Ivanka would have taken home the trophy.

Bright young things: Paris and Nicky wore blue and red gowns respectively while their parents stuck to a monochrome colour palette

The 31-year-old dazzled in a sequined nude dress which boasted a split all the way up to her thigh.
Meanwhile, Donald’s wife Melania blended into the background in her safe white frock, but the long-sleeved number did have a hint of sex appeal with a few cut-out segments flecked with sequins.
Rick and Donald both dressed in classic black tuxedos, with Donald sporting a bow tie, while Kathy kept things simple in a cream dress and matching cardigan.
The famous families posed up separately and together at the gala, which was held at Cipriani’s in order to benefit the European School of Economics Scholarship Program, helping students achieve a Higher Education.
