It's a surprise she made it at all! Lily Cooper very late to Brit Awards after forgetting nipple pads and thinking ceremony was still held at Earl's Court

Many guests will have no doubt spent hours pondering over the right look for the Brit Award but Lily Cooper managed to forget an essential element to her outfit after forgetting her nipple pads as she as set off for the ceremony.
The 27-year-old singer, who gave birth to her second daughter in January, tweeted that she had to turn around to retrieve the nursing aids, which led to her being late for the bash.
Lily posted: 'Was en route but despite numerous reminders forgot nipple pads, had to turn around. #BRITs2013 #carryon.'

The mother-of-two was already running late before she set off for the first time and she had appealed to the ceremony to delay starting so she could be there on time.

After retrieving the pads things got worse for Lily as she was made aware the bash was held at the 02 in Greenwich, instead of at Earls Court like she had thought.
The awards ceremony has been held in East London since 2011.

She posted: 'Oh according to my driver the #BRITs2013 are no longer at Earls Court , this should only delay me by another hour or so. #whoops.'

When Lily did eventually make it to the awards ceremony she showed off a retro look  in a mulitcoloured shift dress with bright green ribbon in her hair, Lily was certainly back in the swing of things.
There was no flaunting of her post-pregnancy body to show off her curves though, as the cut of the dress meant the tweed material fell loosely down to her knee.
The only things pouring out of her Chanel dress were a pair of killer pins leading to some simple black pumps.
Carrying a metallic quilted bag from the Parisian fashion house, with matching hoop earrings, Lily finished off her '60s look with a heavy flick of black eyeliner.

After the awards ceremony, the mother-of-two enjoyed two of the many post-show parties.
At Sony Music's post-Brits party Lily met up with Noel Gallagher and his wife Sara MacDonald.
The High Flying Birds frontman was treated to a peck on the cheek from the Fame singer at the Arts Club, London.

From Mayfair to the Strand, Lily then headed to the Warner party at The Savoy Hotel.
Serving Belvedere vodka and Champagne, the 27-year old hung out with Nick Grimshaw and presumably hairdresser James Brown, who was sitting nearby on Lily's shared drinks table.
DJ'd by Mark Ronson, his Oh My God collaborator clearly had some fun with another Jewish guy on the night, retweeting a message from a party guest the next morning that thanked her 'for the sweaty boob yarmulke session last night.'
With no pictures tweeted of that particular activity, one can only imagine what merriment can be had with a Yiddish skull cap.
What must have been a late night didn't seem to phase Lily, who the following morning was listening to her buddy Nick on his BBC Radio 1 breakfast show.
The northern presenter had invited One Direction singer Harry Styles into the studio, neither of which seemed to have gotten any sleep before the early morning show - something the award-winning singer picked up on.
Tweeting her friend, Lily said '@grimmers you sound hammered still.'
